I have been inspired to witness the tremendous growth and courage shown by those I have worked with. Putting our work and ourselves out into the world is a courageous endeavor and I am here to support that journey. Some of the dynamic writers, artists and mentors that I have had the great joy to work with include: John Patrick Shanley, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Eisa Davis.

My experience

Some of my extensive background studies and life experience include English Literature at the University of Toronto, theatre studies at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City, Labyrinth Theater Company NYC, live experimental performance with the Players Group in Rome and my most recent live improv theatre exploration with the successful production of Annabelle’s Birthday on Salt Spring Island.

The history of my entry into creative mentoring bloomed from my time as mentor at the innovative farm & education centre in beautiful north western Massachusetts Seeds of Solidarity. After over 13 years as an educator & mentor helping children & young adults navigate the trials of maturing into adulthood, I realized very quickly that the mentoring process never truly ends. A natural opening emerged to extend my mentoring to artists who were looking to deepen their chosen art form.

Having supportive, encouraging, direct and clear feedback as a speaker, performer or writer can make a significant difference in how our work is both relayed and received. I feel very passionate about curating a very specific approach with each person I work with to help amplify the subtle tones within their work that is reaching for an opening.

Over the years I have worked with students, writers, performing artists, musicians & public speakers to help clarify their intention.

Grateful to live in the beautiful Southern Gulf Islands and the unceded Coast Salish territories, including those of the Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples, where I receive so much inspiration all around me.
