As a devoted practitioner of poetry, the written word, and performance art, my apprenticeship to these disciplines has carried me across the world and deep into the inner architecture of each piece I write. As a stage performer, poet, educator, and creative mentor, I hold a deep respect for the early, tender emergence of inspiration and its capacity to mature into accomplished work. A sustained dedication to craft, continually nourished by the artists around me, animates my commitment to supporting those working at the leading edge of their art form. My practice is informed by a lineage that spans from the enduring voices of Shakespeare and Emily Dickinson to contemporary writers such as Mary Oliver and David Whyte.

If you are looking for a Creative Mentor to bring a high level of authenticity to your art, to your craft, you could not choose a better ally. - Conrad Caton

Irreversible

a declaration made impossibly simple

place the empty into-

where are your hiding places

holding spaces

heated mazes

long distance dazed

in

wrapping insults - the tempered heart

rapture contains the moving parts

compel a push rising to meet

we all sing the blues when the river runs

dry

where do you get your water

what happened to your father

i know what is half way there-

i still have to breathe through it

breathe here

collecting the dust

rising above the bust

burst

through can be a way

through

can be a way to wet & scrapping

through

you

we all sometimes resemble our failures

our fore-bears

when the night is long - the thief is gone

& the day appears

irreversible
